My name is Stacey Calder. I am married to Jamie Calder and have two wonderful children- Mackenzie Megan (3) and William (2). I decided to go into business and became a self employed business builder in June.

Before this I worked for a large national stationery company as a retail manager. I loved my job but found commuting every day with a young family very hard to juggle. I had gone back to work when Mackenzie was only 10 weeks old and felt I’d missed alot of her early days. I was leaving for work in the morning and Mackenzie was in bed and returning from work at night and she was back in bed.  My husband works shifts so it mean’t I was never getting the quality family time I wanted. When William was born I decided this time I would take my full maternity entitlement and during this time realised it wouldn’t be fair on my children or myself to return to those circumstances. It was a big decision to hand in my notice when I loved my job and the company so much but I felt that my priority now had to be my family and so I went in search of something…..

What I found was something that would allow me to have the family life I wanted aswell as a good career with amazing prospects. I always thought about going into business for myself but never had the confidence or the know how to do it. With Forever it’s my business but I’m never alone and the training and support they offer has been like no other company I’ve known, it’s not suprising they have got the Investors in people Award at Gold and now Champion level! My self development since becoming part of the Forever family has been amazing and I’m continuing to develop myself and my business every day.
